The access is to the front of the property at the side of the drive. The security door gives access to an inner vestibule and is shared with the main house. The Grain Store access is straight in front of you with stairs to the first floor. When your booking is confirmed, you will be sent you an access code and a secure link to NUKI. You can then decide to either just used the code on the keypad or use the app on your smart phone. Your access has a time limit; access from 1600 hrs on the first day and 1000 hrs on your day of departure. This means there are NO keys and hassle free entry for the duration of your stay. YOU MUST WAIT 7 SECONDS FOR THE MOTOR TO FULLY UNLOCK THE DOOR BEFORE YOU PUSH THE DOOR OPEN The door locking is a two stage process as the door is a dead lock slam-shut door. Once the door is open, the powered locks will release the first stage of the mechanism and you can 'slam-shut' the door. This is now dead locked, so if you are leaving, you will need your code to get back in. There are no internal locks on doors and there is an automatic closure on the kitchen door for fire safety. The shower and basin are powered via a heat-on-demand in-line heater; it will take a few moments for the temperature to stabilise according to your needs. Heating is currently via thermostat control valves from the main house.
