Escape to this comfortable, newly renovated apartment in a stand-alone carriage house. Located 5 min from Villanova University & downtown Wayne; 10 min from King of Prussia; a short walk to Radnor Train Station gets you into Philadelphia in 30 min. This property has a private entrance, kitchen, bath, and bedroom. We preserved the cedar shake exterior, interior wood beams, original floors, & exposed the cupola. Guest: "I loved watching the shadows of the trees as they danced across the room.” The space After walking up one flight of exterior stairs, you will reach the front door. If you need help getting your luggage up the stairs, then give us a call. If we're home, it would be our pleasure to help you out! Upon entering, you will walk into the kitchen and living space. Feel free to use any available beverages or food. The bathroom has a pocket door for privacy. For safety, remember to put down the bathroom mats, use the hand bar and stool to climb in and out of the tub, and keep the inside shower curtain inside the tub itself to prevent water from hitting the floor. The closet can be used for hanging clothes or storing your luggage. The bedroom's barn door gently slides to close the room off from the rest of the apartment. In the bedroom, use the knee wall to gain access to shelving for additional clothing storage. There are two labeled thermostats, each of which controls two mini-split units, one in the kitchen and the other in the bedroom. They are fast, effective, and efficient at cooling and heating. To conserve energy and costs, we ask that when sleeping you close the bedroom door and use only that room's unit at night. Guest access You have the entire second floor of the carriage house to yourself. Below the apartment is a two-port garage. Occasionally we may need to open and close the (relatively quiet) garage doors, so please excuse the minimal noise made during those brief moments. Other things to note You will need to walk up one flight of stairs with your luggage to get to the front door.
