Three-story, cedar-lined, classic mountain cabin vacation home with modern updates and perfect for families or groups. 4 bedrooms plus a loft, 7 beds. On a flat, walkable lot with parking for 4-6 cars. In a quiet neighborhood near the UCLA center. The lake is a 5-7 minute walk away. This cabin has been our family vacation home for 3 generations and we want to bring you the best we can in amenities and service, so you can enjoy it as much as we have. Thank you for booking with us. The space Main Floor: High-ceiling Great Room with natural light, comfortable couches, Smart TV, games, toys and views! Stone fireplace and fully-stocked kitchen with new appliances and dining area. Entry from the stairs inside or directly from the wrap-around deck. Loft: Oversized loft with one twin and two queen beds and a small balcony. With books/toys for kids. Ground Floor: Wood-burning fireplace, Smart TV, 7' pool table and cozy seating. Guitar and a ukulele. Two mini-golf holes available. Bedroom with queen bed. Second bedroom with twin bed is adjacent to the laundry room. Updated bathroom with hotel quality towels and basics including shampoo/conditioner and hair dryer. This floor has a flat entry. Outdoor Area: Wrap-around deck with breathtaking views. Outdoor seating, gas BBQ and full size horseshoe pit. There is a small trail that meanders around the property. There is a slope, so be careful and explore at your own risk. UCLA opened up their property for our guests to walk through. Use the access gate on the east side of the property. When it is cold outside, the central heating keeps the home toasty. Guest access The whole house is available. There are no shared spaces. *Please note that for smaller groups of 6 or less, the lower floor can be omitted via smart locking doorway and we can give a discount on the going nightly rate. Booking middle floor and loft only would include: kitchen, dining/living room, 1 full bathroom, 2 bedrooms with 1 queen bed each and the loft with 2 queens, 1 twin bed (sleeping 8-9) and all the outdoor amenities listed. *Inquire with us for this option. Other things to note The UCLA Center recently opened their 60+ acre site for the neighborhood to use as a walking path. On the east end of the cabin, there is a gate in the middle of the green fence. There is an asphalt path that starts about 50 feet from the fence. There are a number of beautiful side paths that lead you through the forest. Pristine and peaceful. All paths lead back the the asphalt road and the asphalt road takes you back to the cabin or to the UCLA Center. The Arrowhead Lake Association also opened up trails to guests of short term rental properties. You will need to register with the ALA office upon arrival and obtain access cards from the host. There are several spots around to access the lake with RFID cards. There are a couple of short sledding spots on the property when there is snow and a few local sledding and ski resorts a short drive away. Registration Details CESTRP-2022-01592
