Arriving at the Ocean Retreat guests step into the lounge area to be greeted by spectacular views across the turquoise waters of Walker Bay to the mountains that cradle Hermanus providing a picture perfect backdrop. The spacious lounge area has been furnished with neutral fabric sofas and chairs to enhance relaxation and comfort. A wood burning fireplace set into a concrete pillar forms the centre piece of the large, open style, living area and provides a warming focal point for colder nights. Moving into the kitchen area guests can sit around the large stone topped island as they prepare food, enjoy a drink or discuss the days adventures. Customized cabinetry contains all your modern conveniences including a Breville coffee machine to kick start the day whilst a separate scullery provides ample utility space with washing and drying facilities. The large braai (BBQ) room that extends from the kitchen area includes a bay window which is sure to be a favoured spot to unwind and enjoy the stunning sea view or get stuck into a good book. Dining space for 8 allows family and friends to come together and share a hearty meal washed down with your drink of choice which might include locally produced world class wine. An expansive tiled deck area flows seamlessly from the living and braai areas accessed via folding doors and includes a 4m pool to cool off in as well as a fire pit for those starry nights. All bedrooms comfortably sleep two guests, are individually styled and enjoy stunning fynbos and ocean views.
