Peaceful house in the Forez

Our house in the village of Noirétable offers a peaceful setting where you can spend a few days or more! Close to amenities, you will enjoy discovering the area through its hiking trails and green nature. Close to the highway, this house offers a nice rallying point for a relaxing stop. The space The house, a former stable, was refurbished in the 1990s. It offers a kitchen open to the living room, with a bay window overlooking the 400 m² garden where a magnificent Plane Tree will offer you a very appreciated shade during the summer heat. The sleeping area has 4 bedrooms: 3 with a 140 cm bed, and the last with a 160 cm bed or 2 80 cm beds to choose from. One of the bedrooms has its own bathroom. It is possible to add a crib if needed. A bathroom and a toilet complete the house. A plancha will allow you to enjoy the long summer evenings on the terrace. As a family, you can enjoy a supervised swim in the lake, 10 minutes' walk away. Marked trails will delight hikers and mountain bikers. For amateurs, an evening at the Noirétable casino and its restaurant. The Saturday morning market will offer you local products, including the Montbrison cheese! You can also have a glass of wine at the Bistrot des Flacons. And lots of other activities that I can advise you on! Guest access The house is at the back of a large neighboring building, and access can be difficult for people with reduced mobility. Access is therefore a right of way through our friendly neighbor's house. Guests will have access to the entire house. The land is fenced, and vehicles must be parked in the parking lot in front of the road. A supermarket is a 5-minute drive away. Bakeries, pharmacy and other local shops are a 5-minute walk in the village. Other things to note Two things to note for the safety of young people: - On a small part of the courtyard, the boundary between our home and the neighbor is a retaining wall, so there is a risk of falling. - In the house, there is a staircase that leads to the basement that is dangerous. In case of an infant, we have a safety fence available.
