Comfortable, Cozy, & Private Basement Suite

Weston Place is a cozy & thoughtfully decorated basement suite supplied with just about everything. Close to Downtown Lilburn & Stone Mtn. Park (free parking pass incl), Amazon Center, CDC & Emory. 2 BR/1 BA + Under stairs nook w/ twin mattress where kids feel like they're in a fairy garden or can sleep 1 adult. Coffee, tea & basic cooking necessities avail. Keyless private entry so you can check in as late as needed! Host on site. The space Tastefully furnished basement unit with a touch of glam and a whole lot of cozy! This 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom basement suite is in a quiet, up-kept neighborhood near downtown Lilburn and 10 min from Stone Mountain Park. No laundry access. 10 min to Stone Mountain Park. Both 18 miles to CDC and Emory University. 36 miles from Hartsfield Jackson airport (approx 45-75 minutes depending on traffic). Approx. 25-30 min from Midtown and Downtown Atlanta. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: Space for up to 6 adults and 1 additional young child. I offer a Queen size bed with a twin trundle bed beneath, a full sized bed, a long couch, and a "secret" twin size bed under the stairs. GOOD TO KNOW: Children do live in the house so although the space has been insulated, you can still hear children at play weekdays from 4p-9p. So, if you want a 1000% proof silent retreat, this may not be the space for you. Additionally, we do own a friendly dog that does NOT enter the basement suite. Also, note that you may occasionally see bugs, usually centipedes. This is a basement unit in the South. This means it's nearly impossible to keep every bug out, especially in the summer when it's very hot or rainy, even though the unit is sprayed for pest. This has nothing to do with cleanliness. By booking, you acknowledge you accept and will not give lower marks for this. I work from home and am available and happy to address questions, concerns or any immediate needs. Even removing those pesky centipedes! :) ENTRY: Private side entry with a smart lock. I'm happy to meet you at check-in but if it's a late check-in, you can still gain entry easily. Also, overnight parking is in the main driveway but can park on the street for short periods. Must walk through a lit, grassy area to get to private entry door. BEDROOM: Serene bedroom with a queen sized bed. Pull down black out curtain for sleeping in. When blinds are open, the room gets great sunlight. The bed sits high as it sits on a trundle but a stepping stair is provided. ● Queen bed on risers ● Twin trundle bed ● Chaise lounge chair ● Desk ● Ironing board ● Hangers BEDROOM 2: Full sized bed that can sleep 2. This is a semi-private bedroom. No windows. LIVING ROOM: Comfortable living room with smart TV. I offer Netflix, Amazon Video, Hulu, and HBO Max. Also, there are other apps that you can sign into with your own subscription. Built in cabinets house books, both children and adult books, board games and puzzles. KITCHENETTE/DINING: Small kitchenette with almost everything you need minus a dishwasher. Toaster over vs. a full oven. Bar seats. Counter height table. Equipped with: ● Small sink ● Double burner hot plate ● Toaster Oven ● Microwave ● Keurig with coffee/tea supplied and to-go coffee cups ● Cutting boards ● Set of sharp knives ● Pots/pans/cooking utensils ● Wine glasses, wine opener, ice bucket ● Condiments and basic cooking spices for your use ● Some Tupperware ● Mini fridge ● NO dishwasher BATHROOM: Full bathroom with tub shower. ● Towels, hand towels, and wash cloths ● Q-tips and cotton swabs UNDER STAIRS NOOK: Hidden away under the stairs you will find a little fairy garden nook with a twin size mattress. Kids love feeling like they are sleeping in some secret place. Sleeps 2 small children or 1 adult. EVENTS/ PHOTO/FILM SHOOTS: Terms, pricing and conditions will vary. If you take it, you own it. Guest access Full basement access minus storage room and playroom. Other things to note Please treat the space with the same respect as your own home. If any problems arise, I will do my best to take immediate action. If there should be some accidental damage that occurs, please let me know immediately so we can try to find a remedy and not leave it as a surprise for me to discover later. If I discover damage AFTER your departure, this will guarantee being charged for the damages. Additionally, this is a basement unit in the South. This means it's nearly impossible to keep every bug out, especially if it's been very hot or rainy. I spray regularly for pests but this may cause them to come out of hiding. By booking this you are acknowledging that you may occasionally see bugs, usually centipedes, that love basement spaces.
