Relax with family and friends at this peaceful home in the woods. This 4-bedroom, 3000 sq.ft. house has lots of space for reading, playing games and cooking great meals in the chef's kitchen. It is a perfect house to spend time together. Build a fire in the Solo stove, hop in the hot tub and enjoy the serenity of the woods. Or use the house as a base to shop the Freeport stores, visit the beautiful Mid-Coast or ski in the nearby mountains. Then relax with a cocktail in front of the fireplace. The space On the first floor there is a brand new, well-appointed chef's kitchen, living room with an upright piano, dining room, family room with Smart TV, fireplace and beautiful wet bar, eat in kitchen nook, laundry room, powder room, sun room and access to a backyard deck with unobstructed forest views and a 5-person hot tub. Upstairs are 4 bedrooms. The primary bedroom has a king bed and full bathroom. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms have queen beds, and the 4th bedroom has 2 twin beds. Those 3 bedrooms share a full bathroom in the hallway. The large basement has a Smart TV, full size pool table, and an office space with desk and printer. The house was built in 1979 and has undergone updates in many areas (all new windows, new wood floors downstairs, radiant heated floors, a brand new kitchen, a wet bar, and new paint). We are meticulous with cleaning the house, so all spaces are very tidy and clean. Guest access There is a combo Yale lock for easy access. Other things to note There is a Peloton spin bike which is kept in the sun room in the warmer months, and the basement in the colder months. There are 16 acres of hiking trails, although we do not recommend hiking in the spring and summer, due to the risk of Lyme disease. In the winter we sometimes have an ice rink in the yard. Please inquire if that is of interest. There is also a frisbee golf basket and a wonderful tree swing. A volleyball net is also available for set-up in the backyard. We use this house ourselves so you will see some of our personal items. This is a very quiet neighborhood and we are mindful of our neighbors' experience, so we do not allow parties or loud music outside.
