Charming Q Cove Cabin - Ocean and Marina Views

Arbutus Cabin is situated amongst old growth fir and arbutus trees and is part of Quadra Island’s history. Despite a few improvements over the years, the cabin maintains its character reminiscent of its heritage. Relax on the large, covered deck and watch boats come and go all day or, lose yourself in a book in the over-sized chair in the reading nook. You will love the spectacular sunsets over Vancouver Island and the parade of cruise ships sliding down Discovery Channel! Come stay with us! The space Note: this cabin over looks Quathiaski Cove. For some reason, the address is linked to Heriot Bay. This is an older cabin, which has character consistent with its years. We have taken steps to make sure it is safe, comfortable, clean and charming! The “master bedroom” looks out over Q cove and has a queen sized bed with an Ende memory foam mattress. There is a tall chest of drawers for your clothing. The second bedroom has a bunk bed also with memory foam mattresses. The room was set up for kids, but the beds can be used by adults. Relax inside and still feel like you are interacting with nature all day long! Guest access You have access to the whole cabin! Also, use of the adjacent yard, which includes the fire pit (when outdoor burning is allowed). There is parking for one vehicle in the driveway and more free parking on the road. Other things to note If you enjoy being in the move, there are many hiking trails, beaches and freshwater lakes to explore. Also, the fishing around Quadra Island is world class for salmon and ground fish! Cafe Aroma (boutique coffee shop) is about an 8 minute walk from the cabin. A 9 minute walk will get you to the grocery store, liquor store, drug store, and multiple restaurants.
