Tokatoka Peak - Base Camp - Dargaville

Our Cabins are situated at the base of Tokatoka Peak, half way between Dargaville and Ruawai. You have the use of a 2 cabin complex (bedroom and kitchenette). We are easy to locate, on the main drag, next to the Tokatoka pub and across the road from the Wairoa River. A handy place to stay over, if you want to climb Tokatoka Peak or explore the area. You can walk, from your cabin to the peak summit and back in an hour. Visit Bayleys beach, Matakohe museums, Kai Iwi lakes or Trounson Park.
