The site is a work in progress. We are turning a neglected field that nature is trying to reclaim into a permaculture eco project. This does mean that there are various rural hazards on site such as old barbed wire (under vegetation along the hedges) that we are slowly removing from site, brambles, and old pallets that we are upcycling. That is why we have marked this listing as unsuitable for children and infants. We have occassionaly allowed parents with children and infants to stay but on the condition that we require parents to be aware of these hazards and take full responsibility for keeping their children and infants safe. Parents must ensure that kids are aware of potential hazards such as brambles, pallets, barbed wire, and act appropriately. My own child and friends have happily played in the field over the years with no problems. I make sure they are aware of the potential hazards and act accordingly. I also make sure I know where they are and what they are doing. Other things to note The field is a work in progress. We want guests to be comfortable and enjoy their stay. We hope to be able to offer an off-grid caravan experience in a 2 acre field without crowds and without the need to tow a caravan. However please do not expect glamping, this is not glamping!
