Seghill’s Sanctuary :Unique Garden Suite !

Our purpose built Sanctuary is a real home from home , ideal for two adults plus pets ,to live in whilst visiting friends or family in the area or for using it as a base for a holiday as many guests use us to explore Northumberland , its wonderful beaches , Morpeth , Alnwick , Seahouses and Bamburgh .It’s also only a 5 minute drive to the local beach , the A19 and just a twenty minute bus ride into the centre of Newcastle ,using the great bus service catching the X7 which runs every 30 mins. The space Our garden suite is perfect for our guests to enjoy their own space in our lovely village setting of Seghill .It has everything you need and is a home from home with a fully fitted kitchen ,including hob ,oven grill , washing machine and appliances including kettle,toaster,, microwave plus HD tv , full Virgin wi fi . The bathroom has a toilet, sink & a wonderful shower , with various rainfall options too. The bed is a king size bed with a Linthorpe Venetian Haze , top quality pocket spring mattress *** Please Note *** If two guests need to sleep separately, we can put up a high quality camp bed ,which has a good mattress on it . We do charge an extra £20 payable on arrival for this option as it means we have to rearrange the Sanctuary ‘s furniture lay out and obviously there’s the extra bedding that needs to be provided and later washed , so please let us know your sleeping arrangements before arrival . There’s a bus stop just over the extensive grassed area that every half hour will take you on 20 minute ride to the centre of Newcastle , or going east ten minutes to the beach ! The decked back garden , has a patio table for two or a large purpose built seating area that are a sun worshippers playground in the summer months , but also has a shaded area where you can also keep cool .It is also lockable , by a bolt from the inside to keep your dogs (s) safe or if guests bring bikes . Guest access Seghill’s Sanctuary is completely self contained . There is ample off street parking on quiet road in front of the suite and once guests enter the main gate and collect the keys from the lockbox , the whole of the property is theirs for the period of their stay . We live in the main property ,( umm no less we are away on holiday ) which is completely independent from the Sanctuary as you will be in your totally own , secure area , but we are always available by phone , text etc . Other things to note We provide complimentary : milk ,tea,coffee , sugar ,washing up liquid , tea towel , sponge ,toilet paper , shampoo, conditioner, body wash , hand soap , towels and bedding ..For guests those of you who are not used to Northumberland summers , as it can get light as early as 4.30 am the Sanctuary does have blackout curtains . Pets - we take a maximum of 3 pets , providing they are all house trained .and for each extra pet we ask for a voluntary donation of £5 per pet to be left in the Sanctuary on departure. ( You will have already paid £20 gift your first pet on your initial booking ) Check out : Checkout time is 11 am . Here’s how to check out. 1-Ensure any open windows are closed . 2- Turn off all lights and Lamps but please leave security light switched on. 3- Leave all towels ,tea towels in the shower tray . 4- Leave the bedding on the bed. 5. Empty inside bins into respective outside bins , by the shed ( Black bin -plastics and tins , cardboard into cardboard box and bottles outside the gate in the green box by the bench ) 6.Please make sure all washing up is done , preferably put away but if not left to drain on the sink . 7. Lock the door on exit and put the key in the lockbox and rejumble the numbers up .
