Country cottage in Forterre

Ideally located in an unspoiled countryside 15 minutes from the Château de Guédélon, in a 19th century barn furnished with care, comfort and respect for the environment, our independent gîte welcomes you throughout the year to allow you to enjoy a moment of calm and serenity. Come and recharge your batteries by the fire after a day of escapades in Puisaye Forterre, the land of Colette, land of ceramics and a major cultural and historical site. Marine and Paul The space The studio is completely independent and located in a barn opposite our house. It has been carefully furnished, with environmentally friendly materials (wood wool, wood, etc.) and all the comforts (d-cons (dishwasher, induction stove, etc. The small wood-burning stove will guarantee warm evenings. We were keen to furnish and equip the accommodation by sourcing much of the furniture from antique dealers in Toucy and Saint Sauveur, and the ceramics and lighting from local artists. We'll be happy to introduce them to you! Guests also have access to the (unheated) winter garden adjoining the studio and private. The accommodation is located on our property. You will be able to meet our 4 chickens (Roussette, Suzette, Minette and Coquette), our cats (Chatouille and Flipette), and our dog (Molly, French Bulldog who does not leave our house without us). Our laundry room is not freely accessible, but it can be used in case of long rental.
