Escape and relax at this unique and tranquil getaway. Nestled amongst the trees at the bottom of the garden with its own private access, our cabin is a little oasis surrounded by native bush and overlooking the beautiful Kaitake ranges. Situated just 5 mins in each direction to Oakura and Okato with their great cafes, restaurants and take aways and 20 mins to New Plymouth, with its many visitor attractions. We are spoilt locally for beaches, great surf breaks, tramping and gardens. The space Our cabin has one bedroom with queen size bed and a fold out couch in the lounge if you need it. There is also a loft that we can set up with a bed as well but it is high off so best for adults only. Please let me know if extra beds are needed and I can provide extra bedding. The bathroom has a hot water shower and basin and the toilets are composting. This means there are two toilets, one for number ones and the other for number twos. Kitchen has a camp cooker, microwave, jug and fridge and a little oven so hopefully all you need. There is wifi but no Television and an ample supply of books, board games and puzzles. Guest access There is a separate access gravel driveway down to the cabin, however, we recommend parking at the top of the driveway and walking down. This because there is nowhere to turn around and you will need four wheel drive as it is reasonably steep. Other things to note There is a washing machine and dryer up at the main house if guests wish to use it, just let us know and we can show you where it is.
