Large windows frame stunning snow capped mountain panoramic views, while warm wood log accents and natural stone create a cozy, grounded feel. Every detail, from the open-concept living spaces to the inviting outdoor patio, was crafted to offer both comfort and connection to nature. Whether it's a quiet morning watching the sunrise or an evening by the fire, this home is the ultimate mountain retreat. Our spacious & secluded cabin sleeps 10+infant/baby and is perfect for romantic getaways, as well as family gatherings. Located just 40 mins from Colorado Springs & 20 mins from Woodland Park, this owner managed cabin is easily accessible, frequented by wildlife, and is surrounded by Ponderosa Pines and Aspens groves. MAIN LEVEL As you walk thru the front door, the smell of the natural wood interior greets you. Your eyes are immediately drawn upward to the tongue and groove cathedral ceiling and the bull Elk mounted high above the cabin floor. The arched top windows in the great room display Colorado beauty at its finest and the morning sunlight casts a warm golden glow on the post & beam log interior. The main level is constructed of solid wood logs and boasts an open concept living, dining, & kitchen area that flow seamlessly together. Each bedroom even has its own privately accessible bathroom! After a day of adventures, relax on the leather furniture and watch a movie or build a fire in the wood burning fireplace and watch the snow fall as you gaze out across the valley towards Pikes Peak. The dining area has seating for 7 and the well-stocked kitchen is conveniently laid out for cooking family meals with stainless steel appliances and a natural gas range. There’s a pantry, coat closet, and plenty of cabinet space for all of your goodies. Down the hall from the kitchen is a queen bedroom with closet and attached bath with dual vanities, a 2 person jetted tub, and washer/dryer. Two sets of French doors open up from the dining/living area onto the large deck with patio seating and a propane grill. THE LOFT This space is a great sitting area and offers a full size futon/couch and a dedicated workspace with a spectacular view of 12,527' Sentinel Point. Just off of this area is a spacious bedroom with King bed and closet. The 2 spaces are open and share a full bathroom. THE BASEMENT From the main level, a staircase leads down to the finished basement. There you will find a game room, a family room, and a 3rd bedroom with king bed and 2 twin air mattresses with attached bath along with walk-out access to your private luxury 7 person hot tub overlooking the valley below. Around the corner from the hot tub is an outdoor seating area with a gas firepit. Guest access * FULL HOME ACCESS - During your stay, you'll enjoy complete access to the entire home/property * EASY SELF CHECK-IN - You will be provided with a keypad door code prior to your arrival * PARKING - Free parking for 5-6 vehicles in pull-thru driveway plus space for trailers/campers * FAMILY FRIENDLY - We provide a pack-n-play, stroller, kid's feeding booster seats, baby toys, kid's tableware, bath chair, baby swing, & baby gate * CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT - We strive to accommodate early check-in/late check-out requests, but it cannot be guaranteed as we need time to prepare the cabin for your or the next guest's stay * YEAR ROUND ACCESS - The cabin is accessible year round, however AWD/4WD is strongly recommended from Sep-May due to potential snowfall and adverse driving conditions Other things to note * NO A/C - Due to the naturally cool mountain climate at 9500', the evening mountain air provides ventilation and keeps the property cool even during the summer. Just crack the windows and enjoy the fresh mountain air! * RENTAL AGREEMENT & ID - A completed RA & copy of your ID is required to be returned to host to complete the reservation process. Once your reservation is booked, we will provide additional details on how to complete the agreement. * FULL STOCKED - The cabin is fully stocked with trash bags, dishwasher pods, toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, body wash/shampoo/conditioner, etc
