Welcome to Back in Time Retreat. This completly remodeled 1968 vintage Avion travel was the cadillac of RV's superior to the Airstreams in the 60s . It sits on top of a cliff that borders the Kaibab National Forest to the west with views of the San Francisco Peaks and other mountain ranges with a feeling of piece and alone in the woods. It is located close to Historic route 66 with views of train going through. Keep in mind there is train noise and is a part of the experience. The space Welcome to Back in Time Retreat. We hope you enjoy your stay here as much as we do. We love this little retreat in the woods on the cliff. It was a challenge to get this little gem in this beautiful location but well worth it. We started out with the vision as we looked up at the cliff and realized that beautiful spot was unutilized. With a friend, a backhoe and determination we were able to get the road up and through the cliff. From there it was a matter of establishing the water, electricity, and hard work to get this 1968 Avion travel trailer remodeled. The experience is breath taking with view of the San Francisco Peaks and other mountain ranges with a feeling of piece and alone in the woods. It is located close to Historic route 66 with views of train going through. Keep in mind there is train noise and is a part of the experience. The main cabin on the lower section of the property is also a rental property: Parks Chalet. They are both very secluded where you cannot see one from the other even though they are on the same property. Must have 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive vehical to get up road to the RV or you can park at the bottom of the cliff and walk up. There is train noise and we do have air plugs if you are light sleeper. For a lot of people, it does not bother them at all, and you can see it in the reviews. Other things to note To get up the cliff and if it snows you will need an all wheel drive or four wheel drive vehicle. There is no internet if you want to straem netflex TV you will need to have a hot spot on your phone.
