Escape to Oak Tree Cottage by RochfordsStays, a cosy retreat in a quiet village on the Stoke Rochford Estate. Just off the A1, it's a short stroll to Stoke Rochford Hall, steps from the golf club, and only 20 minutes to Stamford. Enjoy a wood burner, luxury towels and robes, Wi-Fi, a wet room with freestanding bath, fully equipped kitchen, and off-road parking. With a peaceful garden and space for up to five guests, this pet-friendly cottage is perfect for a relaxing countryside getaway. The space The cottage has been recently renovated and has had some origional features replaced or renewed, for instance the Kitchen is new but has Quaker style features and stone floors, all cooking a cleaning equipment is provided along with, fridge, oven, dishwasher, toaster and Kettle. The Kitchen opens up to a generous breakfast dining room for all the guests and a set table for special occasions with a garden view from the french doors as you dine. The Main bedroom is calm and peaceful, and has a double bed, a wardrobe, towels and robes. Both bedrooms feature traditional fireplaces. The second room has two single beds, also has a feature fireplace, robes and towels. We also have an additional day bed for an extra guest, great for a family. The cottage hosts 5 guests on request. I do have a lovely wood burner in the Living room, wood and Kindling too. The Cottage has old and new furnishings to compliment the space creating a cosy homely feeling. But nothing beats fresh clean sheets and towels with waffle robes for everyone. Our bathroom features a wet room shower and a free standing Bath tub, a little luxury. Downstairs we have an additional powder room and laundry with washer and dryer. The cottage has its own driveway for off road parking and garden surrounding. Great for kids and pets. The cottage is quite remote and removed from the village, the local pub is a 20 minute walk and co-op 10 minute drive. I also offer Milk Tea, instant coffee and some herbal tea. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the entire cottage, including both bedrooms, kitchen, dining area, living room, bathroom, downstairs WC, utility area, garden, and private driveway. Other things to note A list of places to eat and visit are available on request plus some simple house guidelines when you check in. If you require an early check in, or late check out, there will be a small charge of - £25 Please help yourself to any or all items in the basket and fridge in the Kitchen. Tea and coffee, Milk. I kindly request that all guests please follow the guidelines sent to you upon arrival. To preserve the life of the property we request that guests be considerate of the hard work and time myself and the cleaners dedicate to making this a 5 star stay, by treating the property inside and out with care and respect, by putting away used items or furniture back in place or cleaning up after your pets or small children and by reporting any breakages so they can be replaced ahead of our next guests. This means we can dedicate our time to the detailed intricacies of cleaning and maintaining the cottage to a 5 star standard without any added stressors. We are pet friendly hosts, although we do kindly request you keep pets off the furniture and beds for hygiene and cleaning purposes. As you already know we have a very tight deadline to maintain between guests stays so we really appreciate if you can keep soiling or pet hair to a minimum on hard to clean area. Please note you are welcome to use all cleaning tools products mop, hoover, dish tablets, washing tablets, cloths, extra tea towels and extra towels provided while on your stay no matter how long or short to assist you.
