The space Situated on 1.25 private acres with a small creek, Little Woodland Wonder is a custom-built two-bedroom, two-bath log cabin perfect for a couple, small family, or a trip with friends. Soaring vaulted ceilings, constructed of rough-sawn timbers, tower above the open living area greeting guests upon entry. A completely stocked kitchen, with a gas range and oven, microwave, drip, as well as a Keurig coffee maker is available. Master on the main, complete with a log canopy queen bed and Tempurpedic mattress, awaits after a long day. Ascend the custom hickory spiral staircase to the loft area to another log bed with a full mattress. Work/office space complete with high-speed fiber optic WiFi is provided for remote work. Curl up with a good book on the large sectional, or stream your favorites on the 55-inch smart TV while you relax in front of the electric fireplace. Step outside and listen to the soothing sounds of the creek or sit around the campfire sharing scary stories. Recline on the rocking chair back porch, sit on the swing, or fire up the Blackstone gas grill (propane provided) and sear some steaks. We are just a few minutes away from the beautiful hiking trails at Pisgah Gorge. Guest access There are two parking spots in the front of the house. On the side, there is enough space for a boat trailer, if needed. Guests have access to the entire cabin including the fire pit area, porch, and grounds, as well as WiFi. Please do not access private storage areas. Other things to note Please be careful on the spiral staircase, especially the top step. The steps are slippery as they have a thick coating of poly. Wearing socks when using the staircase is not a good idea - 350 lb weight limit. Please supervise children near the creek at all times. Will be decorated for Christmas.
