A converted general store built in 1920, the building sits ‘in the country’ with neighbors on each side and a huge backyard! You’ll be talking about ‘the awesome cool place’ you stayed in for years—and likely will want to come back to stay again! It’s in the middle of it all—-breweries, wineries and the beaches! This is a very unique, one of a kind type of space—-and you’ll want to keep it your best kept secret so you can come back again and again! Three bedrooms—-two with full beds and one with a king bed, a bathroom and kitchen and two large living room areas create a unique layout and loads of space!! Very central location—-2.5 miles north of Bridgman and Weko Beach and about 5 miles north of Warren Dunes State Park; about 3 miles south of Stevensille; and about 5 miles west of at least 8 wineries! A very central location to see and do most anything—-not to mention visits to all of the neighboring towns in Harbor Country, like St. Joseph, Benton Harbor, Sawyer, Union Pier, Harbert, Lakeside, Three Oaks, New Buffalo, Buchannan—-and of course, Bridgman and Stevensville! If you want to be more adventurous, within 1-2 hour drive are all of the following cities: Holland, South Haven, Saugatuck, South Bend, Michigan City, Kalamazoo and even Grand Rapids to name some of the more major ones!! Of course, you may just want to stay and relax in the comfortable space and enjoy the spacious tree covered backyard and firepit! I generally try to meet guests when they arrive, if possible. This property is ‘in the country’—-with neighbors on each side. One neighbor has chickens—which often stroll in and through the back yard. The property is 2.5 miles to Bridgman—which includes Transient Artisan Ales, Haymarket Brewery and Tapistry Brewing, 3 miles to Stevensville—which includes Watermark Brewing and Peats Cider and Social, and about 5-10 miles to about 10 wineries....and about five miles to various Lake Michigan Beaches, including Warren Dunes State Park and Grand Mere State Park, plus amazing Weko Beach in Bridgman! Car is the best option to get around! Hoping to have at least two bikes for guests to use, too! I’m also an UberXL and LyftXL driver if you would like to pre-arrange rides with me—-as there are very few drivers in the area. Up to TWO dogs are allowed. Guests must provide AGE, WEIGHT and BREED at the time of booking for consideration of your dog/s. Dogs over 50 pounds are charged at a rate of $30/night/dog. Dogs under 50 pounds are charged at a rate of $20/night/dog. More than two dogs will be considered; however, an additional cleaning fee will also be incurred in addition to the dog fee for each dog. PETS DO NOT STAY FOR FREE. airbnb currently doesn’t have a system setup to have a nightly fee so you are invoiced separately for that fee prior to your stay. When available, early check in on your date of arrival is offered for $75, and you may arrive anytime after 8 AM. (Regular check in is after 3 PM.) When available, late checkout is also offered for $75, and you may checkout as late as 6 PM on the date of your departure. (Regular checkout is no later than 11 AM.) YOU MUST PRE-ARRANGE AND PAY FOR AN EARLY CHECK IN OR LATE CHECKOUT PRIOR TO YOUR STAY which is invoiced to you thru Airbnb. Early check in and late checkout are NOT available on dates that you arrive when guests are checking out, or when new guests arrive on the date you are checking out.
