Hayne House is located in the beautiful village of Saltwood just 5 minutes from the coastal town of Hythe. Functioning as a wedding venue during peak times, the Hunting Lodge opens its rooms to the public during its quieter periods. There are 5 individual styled double rooms all including ensuites together with communal areas including a kitchen, lounge, dinning room and outdoor seating areas for you to enjoy. Onsite are two tennis courts and many tourist attractions including Port Lympne Zoo. The space Hayne House has five individually styled bedrooms, all with en suites and tea/coffee making facilities. One of the rooms is located on the ground floor with their own entrance, the remaining are all accessed via stairs. The house is self catering with exclusive use of beautiful lounge which includes an open fireplace and dining room with a large banquet table. You have access to a small kitchen with basic facilities but includes an oven, hob, microwave and fridge. Guests are welcomed into the house and provided with a complimentary drink on arrival. There is a local Michelin Star restaurant located just 5 minutes walk away down a country lane called the Fox and Hide and the seaside town of Hythe is a 5 minute drive which boasts many lovely cafes and restaurants or if you want to explore further afield, Folkestone Harbour is great for a range of special cuisines. Dover Castle is a 20minute drive away and as the property is situated beneath the North Downs Way there are plenty of local walks at your doorstep. Hayne House is right at the end past the white gate, you can park here. We have ample onsite parking. If you are staying more than one night we kindly ask that you park the car in the main car park once you have unloaded, so that the spaces by the house can be reserved for guests with limited mobility.
