The space The cottage features two inviting bedrooms, each with a queen bed—one on the main level and one in the charming loft. The loft also includes a dedicated writing desk, perfect for creative pursuits. The lounge, with its high ceilings and a wood heater (wood supplied), provides a warm and inviting space to relax. The functional kitchen boasts high-end appliances, ideal for preparing delicious meals. A kitchen piano adds a musical touch, inviting guests to play. A mudroom is stocked with a picnic hamper and sporting equipment, encouraging outdoor activities on the expansive lawns. Enjoy summer badminton, or relax on the decking with a good book. The bluestone pavers are perfect for morning breakfasts al fresco. Guest access Guests can access most of the property, except for the residence behind the privacy fence. Other things to note Guest access: We are a proudly inclusive stay and every guest is warmly welcomed in this safe space. Remote Area: Codrington Hideaway is located in a remote area, offering a peaceful escape from city life. However, there's plenty to see and do in the surrounding towns and locations. Explore the beauty of the region at your own pace. Clothes Washing/Drying: Clothes washing and drying facilities are available. Please request access from Rebecca if required. One load only unless staying for more than a week. Water Source: Please note that the property uses tank water. While safe for drinking and cooking, we recommend using it sparingly to conserve this precious resource. Breakfast Foods: To start your day right, we provide basic breakfast foods including tea, coffee, bread, eggs, milk, and muesli. These are supplied for your convenience. The closest supermarket is a 25-minute drive away, so be sure to stock up on any additional items you may need. Stairs: Please note there is a staircase to the upper loft bedroom, which may not suit those who have mobility issues. Rural Property: Codrington Hideaway is a rural property, and as such, you may encounter various critters during your stay. While they're a natural part of the environment, they can sometimes get up close and personal. We advise guests to be mindful of their surroundings and take necessary precautions.
