The cabin sits on 5 wooded acres. Enjoy the cozy living area and wood burning stove. From the balcony you can watch indigenous wild life: Turkeys, Deer, Blue Jays, Robins, Hawks, King Bird, Squirrels, and more! There is a spa for your enjoyment below the deck. Activities in the area include fishing, hiking, Jackson Rancheria Casino , wine tasting, historic gold country cities and nearby skiing at Kirkwood or Heavenly Valley in South Lake Tahoe. Water supply is mountain spring well water. A fully functional one bedroom with two pull out beds in the living room. Kitchen is fully supplied with utensils, pots, pans, dishes, etc. everything you need for a gathering. Additional picnic bench on the balcony. A pot belly stove in the living area to warm up. A full sized bathroom: tub and shower. Downstairs is a spa / hot tub to enjoy. This upstairs home is private and is not shared. You will have private access to the whole upstairs, and the grounds which include the hot tub and fire pit. My priority is making sure you have an excellent experience. Amador County is in the heart of the Gold Country, where Forty-Niners flocked to find their fortunes 150 years ago. Outdoor activities include plenty of fishing and boating at nearby lakes, skiing at Kirkwood Mountain Resort, and hiking. Jackson Rancheria Casino is within 10 minutes where you can enjoy gambling, shows and fine dining. Feeling nostalgic? Take a walk down main street in the quaint city of Sutter Creek where you can browse the local shops, and art galleries, wine taste or experience the local seasonal activities. Some of our favorite finds include taking the entire family gold panning, touring the caverns, experiencing the Chaw’ Se Indian Grinding Rock, Sutter Gold Mine, and Amador Flower Farm which boasts over 800 variety of flowers. Amador is famous for it’s wine county with over 100 award-winning wineries, so make sure you save some time to tour a few of them, including limited “barrel tasting” . Watch for the address signs leading up to the long driveway of the cabin. Once there, you will have plenty of parking on premises. Lots of activities nearby such as panning for gold, skiing, various historic tours, lots of wine tasting. There is fresh well water on the 5 acre property.
