Bonjour, I am French and I welcome to our home, Le Coq Bleu, where we live with 5 dogs, we offer an authentic homestay in a rustic setting. My filipino husband and I personally attend to our guests, we have no staff. Our tiny house is made from recycled materials, in our garden below our main house; well ventilated with louvers on windows and doors. NOTE: many stairs, may not be suitable for some seniors IMPORTANT: PLEASE read ALL the details and house rules before booking. DOT accredited The space The cottage is very private, it is 20sqm with has a queen size bed, a small sitting area, a private bathroom as well as a covered veranda with an outdoor kitchen. There is a carpeted loft with a floor mattress; the perfect reading nook or work area. The loft has a window facing trees and the mountain. Breakfast is included and served in the main house from 8am till 10am; breakfast not included for monthly rental PLEASE NOTE this is a garden setting so there will be some bugs/ants/mosquitoes despite regular spraying. NOTE: Our big sweet dog, Hercules lives in the upper garden so you will meet him on the way to the cottage. There are a couples of stray cats in the lower garden outside the cottage. NO PARTIES NO NOISE after 9 pm till 8am NO VISITORS after 8pm NO SMOKING inside; you can smoke on the veranda NO EXCESSIVE DRINKING NO SHOES inside the cottage, slippers are provided. We expect guests to respect our rules. Guest access IMPORTANT:The cottage is located at the bottom of our garden; access is thru our main gate and down 3 sets of stairs. IT IS VERY PRIVATE; the perfect hidaway. Other things to note -PLEASE communicate by cellphone as well as thru Airbnb, we DO NOT have internet access outside the house, therefore we cannot respond to messages sent online. - IMPORTANT: Confirm your check-in time 24 hours before arrival to be sure someone is home when you arrive. -We do not have household help so we ask our guests to be considerate in keeping the place clean. -We are an environmentally friendly home so we expect our guests to turn off lights when not in use. - For safety reason, do not leave appliances/cellphone charging. Please unplug before going out. -Conserve water! Baguio City rations water to 3 times a week so our supply comes from a tank. -Breakfast is served from 8AM to 10AM in our dining room. We do NOT serve breakfast before 8AM. We serve a European style breakfast; pancakes or French toast served with yogurt, fresh fruits, juice, coffee or tea. -WE SEGREGATE ALL OUR TRASH! Please read instructions posted in the room. We hope you will have the courtesy to abide by our rules! These rules are set for consideration and courtesy towards other guests as well as the host. - Check-in is strictly between 12PM and NO later than 5PM -Check-out is at 10AM -We allow small, house trained dogs.There is a cleaning fee of P500 for guests with dogs. I am allergic to cats NOTE: breakfast is not included for stays over 1 week long.the cottage is located at the bottom of our garden therefore there are lots of steps from our main gate; check photos For month long booking: housekeeping is provided once a week to change bed sheets and towels; we expect the guests do keep our units clean.
