Le Rive Gauche; an elegant, tastefully decorated apartment in a renovated building: insulated with windows/shutters. Located on the ground floor of a very quiet building with private parking with private access on the kitchen side, the 2nd is through the hall. 5 minute walk to the bastide, shops and attractions. The beautiful medieval city is a 15 minute walk. This property is fully equipped for 4 people and an umbrella bed is available for your use. Lighten your luggage, linens and bed provided (except baby bed) The space Ground floor accommodation with two entrances, a hall, and parking. Renovated building with thermal insulation, new windows and shutters. Windows with screens for added comfort in the summer. You have basic groceries and two coffee makers at your disposal, including 1 espresso machine with coffee provided for the 1st morning. You also have tea and individual jams. In the refrigerator door, I leave my personal mayo and ketchup for you to use. There is also pasta, lentils and spices in a kitchen equipped with LL and LV products. You also have a hand blender and an electric mixer. Bed linen is provided as well as a bath towel and a medium towel. Of course, there is free fiber optic wifi. Fiber TV in the living room and DTT in the master bedroom. I provide all my usual equipment: umbrella, shoehorn, lint remover, flashlight, humidifier. In the bathroom you will find cotton swabs, makeup remover and a small first aid kit (bandages, disinfectant). At your discretion, of course. You have tourist information at your disposal, and the map of Carcassonne is waiting for you. The other books and magazines belong to me and must remain at Le Rive Gauche. In the sideboard drawer, there is a competition bottle opener and USB cables (please do not take them with you) I hope you enjoy your stay. Guest access You have the whole place to yourself including the residential parking on site in front of the kitchen door. The majority of guests come and go on foot once they're settled in. You do not need your car. The accommodation is a 10-minute walk from the train station and 5 minutes from the airport shuttle stop. For swimming, you can choose between the beautiful Lake Cavayere and the Paichairou aquatic complex, which is a 10-minute walk from the apartment. The last weekend of August, the Féria is a must. A daily road connection is provided between the train station and Carcassonne International Airport. Tourist boats offer commented walks. You can also access boat rentals for the weekend or by the week. Plus, the city center offers plenty of shops and entertainment. In season, free electric vehicles (called Touc) allow you to visit the heart of the Bastide. Every summer, the medieval city comes alive with its festival: concerts, opera, dance... You can also discover the regional vineyards and taste the local products. Other things to note Although accepted with great pleasure, pets can't sleep on the beds or on the couch.
