Perfect for small groups and families! We can’t wait to host you. The space This 1920s beach bungalow underwent an interior renovation in late 2022. This exceptional 3BR/1BA home is situated on Milford's private Cedar Beach and lies within close walking distance to the Connecticut Audubon Society Coastal Center at Milford Point (bird & wildlife watching & education center). The owners use their experience hosting other short-term rentals in Nantucket MA, Savannah GA & Milford CT to provide for a top-notch guest experience at this property. This property is special to us as we grew up on Cedar Beach. We were inspired by Nantucket's classic interior decor when designing this home. The wood wainscoting on the living room walls is original. We added details that most renters desire including: - 2 Bedrooms with (1) queen bed and (1) double bed. The front living room functions as an optional 3rd bedroom with 1 single bed (the main entry door is also in this room). We also have 1 single folding cot -Outdoor dining area with table for 6 overlooking the water - Marble bathroom vanity - Stocked kitchen with fridge, microwave, stove, coffee maker, electronic tea kettle and cooking essentials (pots, pans etc.) - Formal dining table with seating for 4 - Amazing sunsets from the kitchen and backyard - Living area with a Smart TV including access to apps/content - Memory foam mattresses on all beds (we get at least 2 messages a month asking where we purchased these!) - High-end finishes from brands like Circa Lighting, Restoration Hardware (Cloud sofa), Serena & Lily, Ballard Design, and antique showrooms - Beach towels, beach chairs and travel cooler - Private beach access ~200 feet from our house (6 houses away) -Slow drip coffee maker -Graco Pack-n-play (no sheets are provided) The property is an ideal retreat for families or small groups. Guest access The house is equipped with a keypad door lock. No keys are required. Other things to note Up to 2 dogs are allowed with host pre-approval. The dogs cannot go on the furniture, must be fully housebroken, and you must clean up after your pet outside. No cats please :)
