Cottage in Anderson

A cozy lakeside cottage surrounded by the privacy of hardwoods, while also convenient to restaurants, shopping, Clemson & Anderson Universities. Cool off with a swim in the private cove or stay warm while enjoying S'mores by the fire pit. There's plenty of activities with fishing, kayaking and canoeing or just relax over a cup of coffee or tea while taking in the views of the water and wildlife. The Blue Pine awaits to be the escape for the relaxation you've been looking for! The space The Blue Pine has a good balance of an open layout yet the rooms have their own distinct feel. The master bedroom( albeit on the smaller size) we’ve worked to make every part of it efficient, functional and comfortable. There is a flex/storage room off from the second bedroom with the bunk beds - it could also be another place for small kids to lay a sleeping bag or lay out a pallets. It is worth noting that the home has a metal roof, which can be a nice feel when it rains, just know you will hear things more since it is metal. Our favorite room undoubtedly is the sunroom area which gets great morning Sunlight (and really all through the day) and provides great views of the water and even some wildlife. Guest access Full house access (minus a storage room at the front of the house, where you might think a front door would be). Other things to note Parking: there is enough room for two cars to park down by the house, although if you’re not comfortable backing up or turning around you may want to park at one of the spots up by the top of the driveway. CAUTION: Be careful not to pull or back into the house as the gravel pad down by the house is next to the home. It often works best to pull down driveway into gravel pad beside the house and when you’re ready to leave, back up into driveway and pull straight out. Mini Split HVAC: currently it is not connected as we are working on installing and waiting for a part, so do not try to use, the home has central HVAC and you can use next thermostat in the kitchen. Kitchen sink: There is no garbage disposal, please throw all foods scraps into trash can and keep strainer on the kitchen drain at all times. Security Cameras: there are some security cameras (outside only) and signs that reference. Most are just decoys and are not functioning, although we have left for added deterrence (although we have never had any issue).
