This is a registered agri-tourism farm offering a nature and wellness experience. The space L’Orange Yurt is a traditional Mongolian Ger (yurt) featuring a hand painted 9’ ceiling with skylight featuring: - Private outdoor space and hot tub - Toilet and sink with hot water - Indoor soaker tub - Bathrobes and towels - Queen bed with down duvet & 4 pillows - High quality white cotton linens - Indoor fireplace (electric) - Kitchenette with cooking essentials - Outdoor BBQ with side burner - Outdoor fire pit/bowl - Complimentary firewood - Nespresso machine & coffee pods - Selection of teas - BlueAir HEPA filter for germ-free air - Canoe (seasonal)* - Double kayak & single kayak (seasonal)* - Stand Up Paddle Boards (seasonal)* - Two pairs of snowshoes (seasonal) *paddling season is weather dependent, typically runs from mid May to mid October Guest access Tall Pines Nature Retreats is located about 1 km off County Road 503, with a paved, well-maintained road accessible year-round. Guests access the yurt via a flat, seasonal walk-in trail approximately 300 feet from the designated parking area. Nature retreat guests have access to shared trails, waterfront and sitting areas throughout the five acre property. There are two yurts at Tall Pines Nature Retreats. L’Orange yurt sits on its own private acre surrounded by mature forest and neighboured by our family log chalet on one side and La Rouge Yurt (airbnb.com/h/larougeyurt) on the other side. Both yurts have been designed with utmost attention to detail for your privacy so you will be totally immersed in nature. There is a boutique horticulture farm on the property that specializes in plants and herbs. A seasonal farm stand (May-October) is located near the roadside where you can purchase fresh eggs, maple syrup, plants and herbs. Freshly laid, organic, forest free range eggs are available at the stand or pre-order to have them inside your yurt upon arrival ($3 half dz). You will encounter chickens, dwarf goats and alpacas, they are all very friendly and like to meet new people :) We welcome your inquiries and look forward to hosting you! Other things to note Adults Only: Tall Pines Nature Retreats is for adults only, the accommodations are not suitable for children or infants. Parking and access: Guests need to use a groomed walking trail to access the yurt from the parking area (~300ft). A utility cart is provided to easily transport items from your vehicle. During winter, a sled is provided and warm boots and outerwear are strongly recommended. Heating in the yurt: There is an electric fireplace and during winter months, a secondary oil electric radiator heater that keep the place nice and warm. Cooling in the yurt: A portable AC unit is provided mid-May-September and upon request at other times. Cleaning & Preparation: We take great care to provide an exceptionally clean space. Our cleaning and preparation process is consistent regardless of booking duration, we do the following: * • launder all linens (bath towels, duvet cover, sheets, pillowcases, towels, bathrobes, sandals, mats and face, hand and kitchen towels) * • clean & sanitize the washroom fixtures and surfaces * • clean & sanitize the kitchen fixtures and surfaces * • vacuum and mop flooring * • disinfect the air in the yurt * • vacuum, clean and sanitize the hot tub * • clean & prepare the private outdoor space * • removal and disposal of all garbage and recycling
