Canyon Cottage Studio

Experience Bolinas at our Classic Bohemian Studio. Built in the 1930's, this unique Canyon Cottage has been home to many artists. Their work includes a hand carved Whale entry door, & stained glass windows. Located within a 10 minute walk to the beach & lagoon, travelers come to this nature loving town to surf, kayak, & explore the beaches & tide pools. The Point Reyes National Seashore & Mt. Tamalpais offer 150 miles of world class hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, & birding. The space Our upgraded 1 bedroom first floor studio offers high ceilings, salvaged old growth redwood paneling, custom oversized rustic posts & beams, a circular eating nook, & a beautiful bathroom complete with a large cedar sauna. Guest access 1st floor private entrance. Parking right out front in the driveway. Other things to note This town is home to many famous writers, scientists, musicians, actors, and political activists which are drawn to the peaceful yet stimulating atmosphere that is Bolinas. If you thought you spotted someone famous, you probably did. This is truly a special place for anyone needing a step back in time for a simple, relaxing, & romantic respite. Be lolled to sleep by the rhythm of ocean waves & awakened by beautiful sunrises & gentle songs of the many birds. Don't be alarmed if you hear nocturnal coyotes, raccoons on the roof, owls, or deer grazing outside - this too is their home.
