Gorgeous 3-bedroom house with stunning views, just 2 hours away from NYC. This is our beloved home away from home, complete with a fully stocked chef's kitchen, high-end appliances including a killer espresso maker, organic mattresses, board games and 2 luxurious bathrooms. The house is central to all the amazing things that Sullivan County has to offer. Hiking, glacier-fed lakes, swimming, kayaking, farm visits (with llamas!), skiing, great shopping and delicious restaurants are all nearby. Our favorite feature of the house is the huge, open-plan kitchen / living room, which is flooded with light and has a gorgeous view year-round. We love to cook and we keep the kitchen stocked with all the essentials, including high-end appliances and all the cookware you could need. There are 3 bedrooms. The primary bedroom has a king-sized bed and en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed and a desk + monitor for work-from-vacation setups. The third bedroom has a bunk bed (twin on top, full-sized on the bottom) and another desk. Both bathrooms will make you feel like you're in a spa, with wonderful showers and beautiful tile work. You'll have the whole house. Sullivan County is fantastic. You'll never feel overrun by tourists or weekenders, but you'll have plenty of options for outdoor adventures, entertainment (always check out the lineups at Bethel Woods and Rafters!), antiquing and other shopping. There's also an incredible array of restaurants, ranging from excellent local burger stands to innovative high-end dining. Plenty of room for parking on the property, outside the house.
