Secret garden beach cottage

Welcome to the Secret Garden beach cottage! The perfect getaway on the Mornington Peninsula is ready to make you feel at home in a large, unique and private garden setting. Located in a quiet residential area only 5 minutes walk from the water, cafes and shops, the cute and modern cottage is the ideal place where you can relax and stay, enjoy some of our in season home grown produce, feed the chooks or use the fire pit. Suits couples, singles or families with a max of 2 children. The space The detached cottage is nestled in a large and much loved garden of our family home. The garden is largely edible, with veggie gardens, fruits trees, flowers and herbs with large areas of lawn and some beautiful deciduous and native trees. There is a fire pit, swing, outdoor shower, bbq, table and chairs. The cottage has an open plan living area, comprising of a fully equipped kitchen and a living room with a sofa bed, TV, DVD, WiFi. One semi open bedroom with a queen size bed and one bathroom. Car parking is private and gated. Guest access The cottage is a separate dwelling from the main house with its own private entrance at the back of the large L shaped block. The property is fully fenced and you’ll have a key for the gate / private access. We grow a lot of our own food so you are welcome to pick and cook what is in season. And we won't be offended if you want to do some weeding, lol. We also have four friendly and very happy chooks. Other things to note My husband and I used to run this cottage a few years ago. Than we moved overseas for a while and therefore we have lost all the lovely reviews of our previous guests but we can't wait to add new ones.
