Welcome to my home in lovely and beautiful Amsterdam North. With windows on all sides and a garden, it is the perfect hide out from Amsterdam city centre. Metrostration Noorderpark is only a 10 minute walk, and takes you Amsterdam Central station in just a minute. Even cuter: walking to the ferry (15 minutes) that takes you to central station in a couple of minutes. The space Though small, the house feels light and airy, with windows on three sides, both on the bottom and top floor. It has everything you need, with even a sunny garden on all sides as a bonus. Downstairs you will find an open plan kitchen with access to the garden. It is fully equipped with a fridge, freezer, stove and mocca coffee pot. With an open dining & living room you can enjoy dinner together, or just hook your laptop on the HDMI to have a cozy film night in. Or switch to Dutch TV or connect your own music with bluetooth to my harman/kardon speakers. Upstairs you will find a bright and open bedroom with a very comfortable queen size bed. The bathroom next to the bedroom has recently been renovated with a fresh shower to wake up to. Although cleverly furnished, the house is only 50m2 with quite steep stairs and a rather small bathroom and toilet. The house is part of "Disteldorp" which carries a rich history of Amsterdam. Originally built in the 1930s as emergency homes to facilitate the overpopulation in Amsterdam after WWI, it has now become a monumental icon of the Amsterdam skyline. Guest access You will have the house and the garden all to yourself! Other things to note One of my recent guests violated my house rules by last minute inviting unannounced guests, celebrating his birthday and smoking weed inside the house.
