La Guillaumette

In the heights of St Paul at 600 m alt, our charming holiday rental La Guillaumette is designed to comfortably accommodate 2 pax, but can accommodate up to 4 pax in 1 master suite (bedroom, dressing room, bathroom), 1 main room (kitchenette, sitting area - sofa bed), and 1 private terrace overlooking the tropical garden and pool (shared). Between sea and mountains, it is close to the famous Maïdo viewpoint and 20 min from the beaches and the famous seaside resort of St Gilles les Bains by car. The space Adjoining the owners' house, this cottage was completely renovated in 2022 to meet the comfort expectations of travelers. Your hosts Anne and Philippe will remain at your disposal for any questions. Ideally located in the heights for travelers who do not appreciate the heat of the coast, La Guillaumette is in the village center which offers local shops: pharmacies, medical centers, a grocery store, a supermarket (2 km), a greengrocer but also an excellent bakery (winner "best baguette of France 2018"!) and a butcher awarded "best sausage of Reunion Island"! Other things to note On the mountain side, you can count on your host Philippe for wise hiking advice! Working in tourism, Anne will be happy to share with you the love of "her" island! Between sea and mountains, there is no shortage of tourist destinations: Le Maïdo, the "balcony of Reunion" will offer you a remarkable view of the cirque of Mafate and the west coast of the island, as well as hiking departures for all levels. To access the beaches of the west coast, such as Boucan Canot or Roches Noires, it will only take you 20 minutes by car, as well as to reach the friendly seaside resort of Saint Gilles les Bains (shops, restaurants, bars, leisure, nightlife ...).
