Bungalow with dog-friendly yard near Starved Rock

This Starved Rock Country bungalow is dog friendly and less than 8 miles from spectacular hiking trails at Matthiessen State Park and Starved Rock, and less than 1 mile from the shops and restaurants of downtown LaSalle. The bungalow combines vintage 1920s charm with modern Wi-Fi and comfy memory foam beds. Your dog will enjoy time with the family around the fire pit in the fully fenced back yard after a day of hiking the parks. The space This charming 2 bedroom, 1 bath 850 square ft. bungalow with 3 season porch was built in 1924 and retains most of the original woodwork and built-in cabinetry. The hardwood floors have been refinished and it has central heat. This petite bungalow has a large privacy-fenced dog friendly backyard with a fire pit. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire house and yard, but we ask that you please do not enter the unfinished basement. It is only used for owner storage and doesn’t have any guest amenities. Other things to note PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING: Please, NO SMOKING OR VAPING of any kind in the home. You will be charged a minimum of $200 for extra cleaning for noncompliance, so please smoke outside away from open doors or windows and properly dispose of cigarette butts. We welcome families and up to 2 dogs, but guests with infants and toddlers should know the house has steps, sharp corners, and does not have child safety locks on the cupboards or outlet covers. DOGS: Well-behaved dogs and their humans are welcome at this property. Maximum overnight occupancy of 4 humans and 2 dogs, with a $35 one-time PET FEE per stay. Please use the covers we provide if your dog will be sitting with you on the sofas. Please check the box for “Pet” when making your reservation to pay the one-time fee. Dogs must be current on rabies vaccinations, protected by topical or oral flea and tick control, and non-aggressive. We provide cleanup bags for dog waste so you can dispose of it correctly. A city ordinance prohibits leaving dogs outside while you are not home. Sorry, pets other than dogs are not allowed. Service animals are excluded from pet fees, but please let us know who’s coming to avoid misunderstandings. There are exterior security cameras facing the doors and driveway that are for safety, but no cameras or recording devices inside the home or facing the fire pit area. The cameras are actively recording audio and video near exterior entry points for security. We do not monitor the cameras unless an incident occurs.
