We have everything to make you feel right at home! My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids). This gorgeous 1853 Pre-civil war home located on West Middle Street in downtown Gettysburg, has been restored to its time of the 1800's with the original wood floors and decorated in a Gettysburg Theme. Also there is Beautiful Handmade furniture made by my Husband. This spacious home consists of Four bedrooms (queen size beds) dining room, living room, Two Full Baths, Laundry Room and fully equipped kitchen. There is two parking Spaces right out the back door. We do have our Certificate of Use and Occupancy from the Gettysburg Borough and we are in Full Compliance with the PMCA Our other Vacation rentals are located right next door Downstairs is The Ridge a 2 BR/1 Bath Apartment and Upstairs is The Lincoln Quarters a 3 BR/1 bath apartment. You will have the whole house to yourselves and a private deck and upstairs porch. I am only a phone call away! Great walking, hiking and cycling trails. Hershey is one hour away, as is Harper's Ferry. Antietam Battlefield is 45 minutes away. About 10 miles north of Gettysburg are the Appalachians, with beautiful orchards of apples, peaches and cherries. Ski Liberty Resort is 20 minutes from Gettysburg. Some excellent golf courses within a half hour drive. Enjoy the downtown atmosphere of one of the most famous historic towns in America!! Walking distance to restaurants, bars, and unique downtown shopping. Relax on the patio after a day out exploring. Gettysburg is a famous destination for history buffs to explore! This is a great area to be staying in as you can walk to The Garryowen Tavern, The Ragged Edge Coffee Shop, Food 101. And of course many restaurants and wineries right on the square of Gettysburg. As well, lots of cute shops for fine gifts and souvenirs. There is no taxi service in Gettysburg, but there are Uber’s in the area now. Of course there are tour buses, horse and carriage rides, and car tour guides. Thousand of visitors come each year to the Gettysburg Battlefield to learn our past and to remember those who gave the last full measure of devotion.
