Chalet in Hourtin

Here is our little piece of heaven, a wooden house located in the pretty village of Piqueyrot on the edge of Lake Hourtin. The house is 50 m from the lake and a 6-minute drive from the ocean and its wild beaches (Hourtin Plage). The setting is idyllic, ideal for families with small children or stays with friends, with walking access to the lake and its beaches as well as to the forest (Protected Natural Park) and its many bike or hiking trails. The space The house consists of a living room with lounge/living room/open kitchen, a bathroom (shower) and 3 small bedrooms each with closets. Bedding is new and comfortable (160 cm, 140 cm and 140 cm beds). Decorations and pretty antique dishes. Outside, there is a covered terrace with garden furniture and a gas plancha. This house is our vacation home and we leave children's books and games for our 1-year-old and 3-year-old daughters available for guests. For organizational reasons, it is not possible for us to provide bed sheets and bath towels, please bring your linens! This little place of paradise, synonymous for us with disconnection, is not equipped with Wi-Fi internet or television! Nota Bene: Since the Piqueyrot subdivision is in a fairly wild natural environment (Natura 2000 area), there is great biodiversity and in particular many spiders around and in the houses during the summer period. These are perfectly harmless "mowers" and allow there to be no (or very few) mosquitoes! Cleaning is systematically done before you arrive at the house, but spiders can weave a web in one night, so it's possible that you'll discover some on your arrival! If you're arachnophobic, maybe it's wiser to find another place... Guest access Access is autonomous via a key box. Other things to note Piqueyrot Sailing Club within walking distance (CVHM, see their website), ideal for sailing and windsurfing enthusiasts. Possibility of paddle boarding on the lake and pedal boating in summer. Two friendly restaurants within walking distance as well (Le Nautique and Le Piqueyrot).
