BYOT: BRING YOUR OWN TENT, camping essentials, and get ready to relax, renew, and restore! The space If you enjoy nature, privacy, peace, kayaking, beautiful river scenery and views, this is the place for you! This is primitive camping :) No consumable (potable) water on the property. Electric outlets at the commons area. Bathroom available in commons area with outdoor shower (hot water available). Newly-built, clean outhouse available also. If you enjoy nature, privacy, peace, kayaking and beautiful river bluff views, this is the place for you! 40 min from downtown St. Louis, 20 minutes from St. Charles and minutes from the Grafton Ferry! Someone may have already booked this listing, but we have PLENTY of space for multiple sets of campers! * You must bring your own tent (BYOT) and specify your tent size in your booking request * Advertised rate is for up to 2 people * Multiple camping spaces available * Each camping space is considered ONE tent, w/2 people max and tent should be no bigger than a SMALL two-person tent. If more than 2 people to your party, or you wish to bring abigger tent that specified, you will have to book an additional camping space for a total of TWO tent spaces. Book during the weekday if you are looking for a quieter, private, and more secluded time.  * Please be mindful that the closest gas station/convenience store is 15 minutes away, plan ahead.  * Bring some bug spray, your own supply of drinking water (our is not potable), and whatever necessities you need for your camping stay. * If you'd like explore the river by boat or go on a sunset cruise for an additional fee, let us know! AS OF NOW: UBER/LYFT will drop you off in Portage Des Sioux but you CANNOT order an UBER/LYFT to get out of Portage. Those services will NOT come pick you up here! Plan ahead if you will not have a vehicle.
