This cottage is cozy and warm; not a mansion or multi-family vacation home. We call this camp our "Family Tree House," as it is perched up high on stilts with panoramic views of the lake, trees and wildlife. There are very few houses on Skaneateles built directly over the water. These waters are pristine and protected. As such, please be stewards of nature and conservation while you enjoy this unique vacation experience. There are no dedicated bedrooms; however, there are many places to sleep comfortably within the camp, including a queen bed, a modular sofa and loft area w/ queen bed. The open air downstairs patio area has a bunk bed w/queen size lower bed just 10 ft. from the lake for those more nature-oriented. The sound of the water is very relaxing... Guest access This entire property is yours exclusively during rental periods. You have 2 dedicated parking spaces for personal use; approx. 50 feet from the camp's entrance door (Up/Down 18-20 stairs). You will be given a private code for access to the cottage/lake. This includes all amenities mentioned above and below. Other things to note *Marina for boat fuel is located 8 mi. north on the lake in Mandana, NY. *Carpenter Falls (2 Waterfalls) located 3 mi. away. Almost 100 feet tall. Amazing! *Bear Swamp Natural Preservation Area located 1 mi. uphill behind camp. *Nature abounds in the Finger Lakes! Many famous State Parks w/in 30 miles.
