With unobstructed views of the Sangre de Cristos and the scent of sage on the breeze, guests can stargaze under the milky way and see awe-inspiring sunrises/sunsets. Whimsical, romantic, and earthy. Great place for cooking, stargazing, and snoozing in the sun. It's rustic and simple, with little touches of luxury here and there. A darling house with local art, instruments, raw beauty and unique design. The perfect place to unplug, reset, and unwind. Coyotes yip in fields and hummingbirds buzz at the feeders. The stargazing here is dazzling, hence the name "Sangre del Cosmos". The milky way spans the property and shooting stars are a daily occurrence. With views in every direction, you'll witness brilliant sky-scapes and frequent sky phenomena. Please note, there is no traditional heating/cooling system. The heat is provided by wood stove (so romantic!) and space heaters. Other things to note This is my personal home, so it will feel lived-in! Please note that dogs occupy this house on a regular basis. This house is eccentric and unconventional, as is typical for this area. Come with an open mind and be prepared to feel inspired. Oozing charm in the cozy house and natural beauty in the surroundings. Some details may change from photos, as I'm always improving and decorating. Other folks live nearby and dogs are often wandering around, though there is much privacy at the house. Please be mindful of parking spaces and privacy/noise for the others.
