Welcome to the Black Bear Cabin, the perfect fall and winter retreat! This amazing log home sits on a quiet dirt road and offers a king sized bed in the open loft, queen bed in the main floor bedroom, a king bed in the common room down stairs and a pull out queen sleeper sofa in the lower level walkout basement, which is also a common area. There is a large deck with a gas grill for entertaining. The garage is not available for guest use and there are two locked owners closets in the home. The hot tub is open all year round. We provide beach towels and flip flops for the hot tub. We also provide all bed linens and bath towels. The kitchen comes fully stocked with all cooking utensils, seasonings, oils and paper towel. There is a regular coffee pot and a Keurig. We provide Folgers coffee and a variety of K cups as well as cream and sugar. There is a dishwasher with detergent. In the bathrooms we have shampoo, conditioner and body wash and toilet paper. For your entertainment, we have lots of games for all ages, regular playing cards, giant Uno and Checkers. There is a Wii with multiple games and DVDs. We have smart TVs so bring your passwords to your streming services. We have fiber internet. Outside, there is corn hole, a fire pit down by the river and seating both on the deck and below the deck. There is a washer and dryer and there will be one tide pod for every night booked. We no longer have a wood burning fire place. There is an electric fireplace insert available for use. The city of Baldwin is about 10 minutes from the cabin. They have a couple grocery stores, a Dollar General, Family dollar and quite a few mom and pops restaurants and several bars. There are also a couple of ice cream shops. Please be aware that this is a cabin in the woods. You will encounter bugs and wildlife. We do provide mosquito spray. Guest access Guests have access to the home and Hot Tub. The garage is always locked. The hot tub is open year round. There is a locked owners closet downstairs and a locked cabinet in the laundry room. Other things to note The sleeping area upstairs is an open loft area. The queen bed and queen sleeper sofa downstairs are also in a shared space with other members of your own party. There is a Ring doorbell at the front door and a trail cam facing the driveway.
