Hello! We are Maria & Darko and this is our vacation home. We are a family of seven that loves skiing, biking, and hiking and absolutely enjoys everything outdoors that Tahoe offers. We also like movies, games and cooking, and find great pleasure in nice and comfortable interiors. When not vacationing in Tahoe, we are in the Bay Area. Being a host is a new journey for us and we are very excited to share it with you! The space You’ll have 3800sqft of recently furnished space for yourself (garage NOT included), enclosed backyard and a deck. There are three levels in the house: - Level 1: kitchen, dining room, living room (w/gas fireplace), balcony. 1/2 bathroom, master bedroom with an en-suit bathroom - Level 2: living room (w/ wood burning stove), game room (foosball and air hockey), balcony, two bedrooms each with an en-suite bathroom, laundry - Level 3: bedroom with a kitchenette and an en-suite bath Features: - In the kitchen: drip coffee maker, toaster, Vitamix, food processor, mixer, rice cooker, waffle maker, electric kettle, griddle - In the kitchenette: drip coffee maker, toaster, small fridge, microwave - All beds are king size with comfortable cotton linen and feather pillows/duvets - WiFi up to 150Mbps, Ethernet up to 350Mbps - Tesla charger (free to use for your vehicle) - No outdoor grill - No AC in the house 10 min to Heavenly Gondola parking 20 min to Heavenly Resort parking Other things to note Douglas County mandates: 1. Maximum night time occupancy is 8 - no exceptions. Maximum daytime occupancy is 16 - no exceptions. 2. Guests are allowed parking for 3 vehicles only and will be issued parking permits for the duration of stay. Street parking is not allowed. 3. Parking permit must be displayed at all times on driver’s side of dashboard 4. Quiet hours 9 PM to 8 AM will be strictly enforced 5. Must be 25 years of age or older to rent and must provide a photo ID (drivers license or an ID card) 6. Vacation home rental permit: 08402138 Winter info: on snowy days, the roads in out neighborhood are plowed multiple times a day. Our driveway will be plowed at least once a day when the snow cover is more than 6” thick. If there are cars on the driveway at the time of plowing, the company will plow only from the street to the cars but not around them. We provide lightweight shovels for guests to use. Depending on the circumstances, the guests might need to clean the snow from the entryway stairs and/or around their cars. We don’t remove snow from the house decks - we consider them closed during the snowy season. In case of a severe storm, we always work with our guests to help them stay safe and be able to come/go from our house with a minimal disruption.
