Here is a recent review: Had a large group of 16 cycling enthusiasts for the weekend in Cambridge. I don’t know that I’ve stayed in a better Airbnb with the level of personality and individuality that Anna has brought to her home, combined with service. Everything was catered for: parking, extra linen, fry-up in the morning… Could not recommend more highly. Another review: I booked the house for my friends Hen do. It was perfect for everything we wanted to do and we all had a fantastic stay! The house is in a great location , opposite a park and was lovely and clean. The house is lovely! There was 11 of us who stayed and still plenty of room for more! The beds are comfy and clean. Anna has great communication and responded back to any questions quickly ( within the hour! If not sooner). Anna even helped with our organising of the hen do and set us up with a great chef called James - the food was amazing! Great choice too and he catered for all! Anna will go above and beyond. The kitchen and bathrooms are all modern and clean and spacious. I would highly recommend a stay here for a large family or hen do! Guest access I am here to help you throughout to ensure your group have the most wonderful, comfortable experience! My staff and I can can come to the property at short notice if you need us. Other things to note PARKING OPTIONS: Here are plenty of parking options: You can park for free outside the house on the road from 5pm to 9am any day of the week - there is not always a space available. Other than that its payable at the meter or via the app and limited to 2 hours (3/4 hours on Sundays). They check often and you will most likely get a fine if its outside the free night time hours or longer than 2 hours during the day time. At a cost of £20 per day (£30 for 2 days, £40 for 3 days) you can park using my private permit just 3 min walk from the house with a guaranteed , large and easy to access space. This and all options need to be booked with me in advance and payment brought in cash on check in please. I recommend using the permit. With this, 1 car can park just 3 min walk from the house, anywhere on Grasmere Gardens, just off the next side road, Carlisle road. This is the better and most cost effective option. Very convenient if you want to use the car while you are there. If you book this I will send full details. There is a guaranteed space. One car can park on my drive for £15 per night. This option is best if you would like the car right outside but won’t need it again until you leave. Note: no dropped curb and there is a 1/100 chance you might get blocked in by a car parking on the road in front of the drive. Bins need to put on the road. This option is better for a longer stay of 3-5 days or more if you don't need the car during your stay. We will help you with access as far as possible. Further discounts for a longer stay. No compensation will be paid by me if someone moves the bins and parks on the road blocking you in. I also have visitors permits for the side streets just by the house. These are for £12 but you need one for each calendar day. That means usually 2 are needed for an overnight stay but then you can park for £24 from early morning until midnight on your check out day! If you choose this option I will send you all the streets that you can park on with this and I will activate your permit(s) digitally. Finally you can park at the spacious, easy to access space at the wine shop a few doors along from my house for £25 per night. There are 2 spaces there. Big, easy to access spaces. 2 min walk from the house. Book in advance as not always available! All options are from noon to noon and are extendable usually for no extra charge if a few hours longer, except the visitor permits which is for the calendar day, up to the entire calendar day (12 midnight to 12 midnight) Thanks for confirming if you would like to reserve the parking permit, my drive, the visitors parking or another option and if yes from what time to what time approximately you would like to park. You can also park for free day and night on Harvey Goodwin Avenue. You can check it using an online map. It's just off Victoria Road and about a 15 minute walk to the house. There is usually a space but it's possible you would have to wait for someone to leave. Also Stretton Avenue, parallel to Harvey Goodwin Avenue and further along Stretton Avenue (It becomes Carlton Way). Parking in Central Cambridge is so difficult and expensive so I have tried my best to create options for those who need parking. It costs extra so that those who don't need parking can also benefit for my exceptionally good value for money central and comfortable accommodation.
