Our little town is a great place for a getaway. Ride a tube down the Portneuf River as it winds through town, enjoy the swimming pools and the speed slides, soak in the natural hot springs, hike, bike, fish, golf, ride your ATV... whatever. We invite you to relax, recharge and rejuvenate here in our quiet little river valley. Our property is the perfect location! We are 1/2 block from downtown Lava Hot Springs! You can walk to all of the dining, swimming, and shopping locations in minutes! The Portnuef River is also a couple minute walk from the home! Enjoy the benefits of being right in town, but located off of Main Street, so your stay will be quiet and comfortable! We offer an immaculate home with the comforts of home plus more! Bedrooms have premium mattresses with zippered dust/allergy protection covers, and topped with 2 additional clean mattress pads for your comfort and protection. Bedding is hotel quality, clean and crisp. Pillows have 2 zippered dust/allergy protection covers each, and are topped with pillowcases. Upstairs living room has a sofa pullout bed with a memory foam topper for added comfort. Downstairs Living room has 2 leather futons. 1 futon is extra-long for our tall guests! Bedding and pillows are provided for sofa-bed and futons. All sleeping areas are carpeted. Bedrooms all have closets and some with added dressers. Sleeping areas are warm and comfy! Windows with 2" blinds provide light during the day and privacy at night. Living room sleeping provides an opportunity to go to sleep watching the flames dance in the glass-protected gas fireplaces! You will have access to all of the Living Rooms, Kitchens, Bedrooms, Bathrooms, Front and Back doors, Patio, Yard, and Driveway and Street Parking. There is no access to garage or laundry/storage area. There is a new full service Laundry Mat on Main Street just a couple of minutes from the house. We live a short distance from Viva La Vida and available if you need help with something at the house or need restocking of supplies during your stay. Ask us about our "lazy river" excursion! We can outfit you with boat type tubes, paddles, and life vests right at our vacation home property and transport your group to the river to begin your adventure for a 60-90 minute ride down the safest part of the river through scenic Lava Hot Springs and through "Old Oregon Trail" areas!
