Relax with family and friends at this peaceful, waterfront house. Enjoy fishing off our pier or dock. Launch the kayaks off the boat ramp or launch your boat from our boat lift! Savor the views from the front porch or the spacious screened in porch where you can dine. Rest, read, sip a beverage. There’s ample room to sprawl including a carpeted attic with a queen sized bed in one area, 2 built in twin beds, plenty of shelves of toys, & a desk for writing or drawing as you view the water. The space There is a spacious living room, a lovely kitchen with an island with 2 barstools. The dining room seats 8 with more chairs that can be pulled in as needed. Off the kitchen is a laundry area and a full bathroom. After people play in the water, it is convenient to have this bathroom to use immediately upon entering the side door to shower and rinse off the salt water. On the second floor, there is a master bedroom with a king sized bed, a TV, and armchair to read or enjoy the water views and a master bathroom attached. There’s a brand new mattress on the king bed as of August 2024! The second room has a queen sized bed, and the third room has 2 twin beds. On the third floor, the finished, carpeted attic, there is a queen sized bed and 2 twin, built-in beds on the opposite side of the large space so each is its own quadrant. All beds were purchased in August 2022 & are quite new. They are comfortable & a great, natural brand with charcoal in them to remove any odors. There are lots of different pillow options throughout the house so feel free to swap with the style of a pillow on another bed if it doesn't suit you. There are water views from every window of the house! Even from the side of the house, you can see the Chesapeake Bay through the trees. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house. There is just one closet upstairs that the owners will reserve for their personal storage and a closet next to the laundry locked with cleaning supplies. Other things to note We only use natural cleaners (Norwex) for the health of humans, pets, & the environment. This also helps those with chemical sensitivities, allergies & other health conditions. Everything from dish soap, to hand soap, to detergent is natural (Norwex, Seventh Generation, Mrs. Meyers, & Trader Joes, etc). The guests are welcome to use, at their own risk, our trampoline, our fire pit, the basketball hoop, our cornhole set, our horseshoe set, and our kayaks. We have 2 single kayaks. . There is a ramp for easy access to launch the kayaks. From the kayaks, get a close up view of the oysters, osprey, great Heron, and the fish.
