'Love Shac' Cabin near Kenilworth

Welcome to our uniquely renovated 'Love Shac' Cabin! Once a Farrier's shed, we've been able to embrace the original rustic charm, added an industrial edge and softened the interior design with a beautiful, calming, colour palate and décor. Awaken to the sounds of nature as our 'Love Shac' sits on a peaceful 5 acres in the stunning Mary Valley. Feel free to explore the property, discovering the native flora and fauna or relax indoors with all the amenities of home. Relax / Recharge / Heal The space You will have a sense of Space when you enter our 'Love Shac', featuring high ceilings and open plan living...but Cosy at the same time with exposed rustic timbers and botanical colour palate. Entering from the undercover parking area, the dining area for two and full size kitchen will be the first to greet you. With plenty of lighting, bench space, appliances and storage you'll feel right at home. We offer our guests a full size fridge/freezer, convection microwave, electric single induction cooktop, kettle, toaster, compact dishwasher - It's so cute! (A full inventory is available - We've tried to think of everything so you don't have to). To the right of the entry is the TV/Lounge area equipped with 1 x 3 seater lounge, 40" TV - USB compatible, DVD player, Netflix and Wi-Fi Internet. The storage drawer unit houses a variety of DVD's, games, puzzles, magazines, picnic rug, beach towels etc for your entertainment and pleasure. The multi-angle TV wall mount allows you to enjoy your digital viewing in the dining, lounge and bedroom areas. Now, the Boudoir... Feminine tones to relax and romance. Charcoal body sculpture artwork to inspire...the sensual artist in you... Ah, but you really want to know if you're going to have a good nights sleep? We hope you like what we've chosen for you...our dear guests! The Plush Queen mattress with organic cotton topper is like sleeping on a cloud with special features for extra comfort, support and minimal partner disturbance (Sorry, but we can't help with the snoring). We've also chosen Quality bedding and linens from Sheridan; get that silver lining feel with 500TC & 700TC Sateen sheets. The Boudoir extends to a sitting/dressing area where you have plenty of hanging/shelf space for your attire, luggage rest stop and fluffy Sheridan robes (only for guest use while staying at our 'Love Shac'). The french doors lead out to one of the outdoor undercover sitting areas where you can enjoy your morning coffee or relax with an afternoon wine before lighting up the fire pit to cook your evening marshmallows. The last room to view is the ensuite bathroom. Slide open the barn door and find once again that rustic charm/industrial edge with modern bathroom amenities for your comfort. The timber slab vanity was created by my darling Hubby, inspired by Moi...something unique with Australian hardwood...mission accomplished! Wall to wall width mirror, hair dryer, toiletries and laundry sink (clothes line is out the back). Individual switches for main light, heat lamps and in-wall exhaust fan. Dual flush water saving toilet and a good size shower recess with a twin shower system where you can switch from handset to overhead drencher at your preference. Dry yourself off with Quality Sheridan bath sheets after enjoying your hot shower powered by gas, then slip back into your fluffy robes and relax. Enjoy reverse cycle air conditioning for all seasons or with the ceiling fan and insect screens, let the natural breezes flow through. Undercover parking at the door and a second park hidden just metres away (not covered) for additional vehicle if required. Our 'Love Shac' uses rain water and has filtered drinking water located at the kitchen sink. BBQ facilities available on the front deck where you can take in glorious views of the 'Brooloo Bluff' while cooking up a feast for breakfast, lunch or dinner. (Please Note: milk, various teas, coffees & sugars are supplied for our guests) Nestled back from the road you may hear minimal traffic noise through the day, but we are centrally located only 8-10 mins drive to Imbil and Kenilworth for some relaxed country shopping and dining options. Check in is via a key safe, but please notify us of your ETA so we can prepare our 'Love Shac' for your arrival. For example, if you are arriving after dark we will leave lights on for you. All surrounding yard area, plus feel free to explore the rest of the property. Perhaps, come with me as I seek the beautiful, docile female possum that visits occasionally. Our 'Love Shac' is discreetly separated from the main residence by distance and a huge work shed. Hosts are available at our guests discretion...your privacy is our main concern. Hosts can be reached at the main residence front door or via Airbnb. Other things to note Due to our location, phone reception is questionable...can depend on your provider and phone. Wi-Fi calling is probably your best option.
