Built in 1912, we wanted to highlight this historic homes history by maintaining it's original architecture and era appropriate furniture and art. The space This is a historical DUPLEX, built with columns that are a nod to the Toledo Museum of Art. You'll have private accommodations in the entire upstairs unit, including your own full kitchen and bath, complete with retro tub. There are 2 flights of interior stairs to access this historical gem. Excellent for long term stays, remote workers, & Toledo corporate rentals - we offer the strongest Wi-Fi in the area. Work from the window room office with the trees view, or, we also offer an antique desk in the front parlor. Guest access You'll enjoy the entire 2nd floor of the building, approximately 1750 sq ft. There are 2 private bedrooms, plus a bonus window room workspace that sleeps one. Private kitchen, bath, dining room, living room, and office are all designed with 1900-1920's Victorian and antique furniture. Other things to note We hope you enjoy stepping back in time with this historical themed home. In any historical property, you'll find some 'character'... aka faucets, doorknobs, and locks that turn the non-traditional way, some slopes in the floors, and small settlement cracks in the ceilings and walls. We adore the funkiness of the home, and think you will too. Things were built differently back in 1912. We do have a spectacular front balcony, however, access is via the bay window on the left side...so enter / exit at your own risk, and note the railing height on both the front and back balconies is NOT to today's regulations or standards. Trash goes out on Monday night for early Tuesday morning pickups. If you would like trash handled, please message us in advance.
