Unit 1 is a renovated ground floor unit of triplex with ideal location in KDH. 4 min bike ride or 10 min walk to beach/sound. Off of Third St which has a stop light w/ push button crosswalk. Restaurants, Target, Wright Brothers Museum, shopping, Food Lion, movie theatre, mini golf within walking distance. Bikes provided. Kitchen is stocked with dishes, glasses, pots/pans etc. Full size appliances, spacious bedrooms, smart TV's and washer/dryer. Retreat, relax and enjoy! Walking into the property you will notice many updates to make your stay feel like home away from home. All bedrooms have smart TV's, extra sheets, towels and blankets in the closets. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook with during your stay. Washer/ dryer inside the unit available to guests. This is a ground floor unit and ceilings are approximately 7.5 ft, not the standard 8 ft. Unit 1 guests have access to the ground floor only, including the breezeway on the bottom floor. Yard space is available to all guests including Unit 2 and 3. Unit 2 & Unit 3 share washer/ dryer on ground floor. If there are clothes that belong to another guest in the washer or dryer, do not remove them. Bike/ Beach Storage Room is available to all guests. Bikes and beach supplies are first come first serve. Return items to the room when you are finished with them. If something breaks, no worries, just let us know so that we can replace it. We do not live in area but will stay in one of the units from time to time. We do have a handyman and cleaner in Kill Devil Hills. If there is an issue with the unit contact us and we will coordinate to have the issue resolved. Conveniently located within walking distance to Food Lion, Belk, Target, movie theatre, restaurants and more. Connect to the 3 mile path by taking a left onto 3rd St to the very end. Take a right onto 3rd St to get to the beach. Walk, bike, Uber are all perfect modes of transportation. The area can be congested in the summer and beach parking can fill up fast. The unit you are booking is located in a triplex. This unit is on the bottom level. You will hear footsteps and maybe occasional talking from guests upstairs. We will do our best to help minimize the noise that you hear. We offer earplugs and sound machines for sleeping. You will likely encounter guests as you are coming and going. There is a laundry room in the lower part of the triplex available to the guests in the upper units. We are in the process of installing laundry in the upper units but in the meantime, they will possibly use the laundry room near unit 1. Parking is shared with all units. Each unit will have a row in the driveway that fits 2 cars. Unit 1 will park in the far right row. Guests will also share the outdoor shower that is located between the stairs at the front of the home. There is a wooden path that will lead you to the shower.
