Up a private right of way, set in native bush, this modernised cottage offers views of Waikawa Bay. Wake up to birdsong. Watch the tui flitting between the trees and maybe a weka crossing the lawn. Gaze at native bush and hills or watch the boats in the Bay. A wonderful place to chill out in the last of sun. Walking distance to bike tracks, the beach & marina/pub. Two Queen bedrooms, a third bedroom is available with fold down sofa bed (this doubles as a second lounge and adjoins one of the Queen rooms). Spacious open plan lounge adjoining kitchen with a large breakfast bar where everyone can eat together. Full bathroom and separate laundry with new front loading washing machine. Great deck for all day sun and views. Deck railing (and a decent drop on one side) means that it may not be suitable for small children, except under strict supervision. Please ensure you check the photos if you have little ones! Large gardens include a fish pond, and lots of lawn, and are a work in progress! Guest access The whole house is accessible to guests with the exception of a small storage room off the entry labelled private. It’s not locked but please respect our privacy. Other things to note We LOVE dogs, so happy to have dogs by arrangement but note that property is only fenced on 3 sides, though it is on a back section. Dog(s) should not be left alone on the property. At times I can put you in touch with a local dog sitter who lives close by if you want to be out for an extended period, such as to walk part of the QC Track which does not allow dogs. Electric cars. Note that the cost of the Airbnb doesn’t include charging your EV as this can have a substantial cost. If you wish to charge your car, please advise so I can provide some additional directions and payment can be organised! Thanks!
