The Allen family has lovingly restored this home and makes it available to you and your guests including the original hand carved staircase, hand laid brick walls, etc. The home sits beside the Orient and Bruington Boarding Houses which once housed the remaining stars of the Cripple Creek Melodramas and Olios. These buildings are currently under renovation so you will have access to the entire Carr block which is on block off famed Bennett Avenue. Guests will have access to the entire home. We usually make every effort to greet our guests and orient them to the property and area at check-in. If we are unable to do so, we can arrange for no contact check-in via a lock-box. Our management team is always available should your have questions or require assistance during your stay but nobody is living on site. The Actors house on Carr Avenue is located one block off Bennett Avenue and is right in the middle of Cripple Creek's Casino District and nightlife. No need to drive. Everything is walkable. We recommend guest traveling to the Gold Camp region fly into Denver or Colorado Springs (COS) airports and rent a car. The house is centrally located in downtown Cripple Creek so guests can easily walk to many attractions without a car however there are lots of activities within a short drive that we recommend having a rental car for. Your hosts will be glad to help with all of your activity planning based on your individual preferences. The Carr House is literally one block off Bennett avenue and right behind the new Chamonix hotel. You will not find a closer vacation rental to the Cripple Creek Strip than this one. We are 100% committed to cleanliness. We use a professional cleaning service for all of our properties. All beds are laundered before every rental and have duvet covers which are also always replaced with every rental. Hot tub water is replaced after every rental.
