This is not your usual holiday house, it is a private oasis that is ideal for a weekend couples retreat or midweek escape, or a family holiday. With 5 x luxuriously appointed bedrooms and a multitude of local attractions within a short distance, it is perfect for group getaways or a relaxing time spent with friends and family. The space Havelte House offers a magical mountain experience with clean crisp air, rustling trees, birdlife and expansive coastal & hinterland views. The house is set amongst 20 acres of picturesque hinterland, and is located just 10 minutes drive from the heart of the popular Montville village. Please note, we are unable to accept requests to hold Weddings or large events. Guest access Havelte House is fully self-contained with a large open-plan kitchen with breakfast bar, double door fridge / freezer and 900cm stove / double oven. The kitchen is equipped with everything you would have at home including quality appliances, a Nespresso coffee machine, mix-masters, cooking utensils, pantry staples and entertainers crockery and cutlery. Upstairs is a formal dining room which seats up to 8 people or for larger groups, a 10-seat dining table is downstairs. Outdoor tables settings also provided for large groups. Havelte House boasts an expansive 3m wide wrap-around deck with magnificent rolling valley views and breezes – perfect in any weather. The house is equipped with BBQ facilities and a variety of outdoor seating areas ideal for entertaining. It also includes a hammock, daybed and lounge areas. After a day exploring or relaxing, unwind inside and enjoy a choice of entertainment with a large 64" LCD TV, DVD player, Bose sound system, large selection of over 200 x DVD's, music CD's and books. The gorgeous fireplace is the perfect place to sit on a cold Winters night. Downstairs the rumpus room provides a separate living area incorporating a second seating area, bar with second fridge and 10-seat dining table opening onto the view. Board games are also available. Your stay at Havelte House will be complete once you take a swim in the massive resort-styled 23m x 14m pool. Enjoy a picnic underneath the beautiful Poinciana Trees; have lunch by the pool or a siesta in the poolside steamer chairs and enjoy the magnificent view up the mountain. 5 LUXURIOUS BEDROOMS Oversized and luxuriously appointed bedrooms with premium linen, gorgeous red cedar windows and robes will ensure you sleep soundly at Havelte House. There are 5 x bedrooms that sleep a total of 10 people. We do not accommodate more than this. The master suite has gorgeous bay windows to frame the picturesque outlook which has a distant ocean view, a WIR and luxurious king bed. The attached ensuite includes a double shower. There are an additional 3 bedrooms upstairs, two of which have queen beds and the third, a double bed. The main bathroom includes a double vanity and spa Downstairs, a separate room also includes a king bed and attached ensuite, offering a private space. All linen and towels are supplied. LAUNDRY The house has a fully equipped laundry with washing machine and ironing board. Eco friendly washing powder is provided. There is also an outdoor clothesline and dryer available for use. PARKING Havelte House can accommodate up to 4 cars in a large garage with ample space for additional parking alongside the driveway. Other things to note This property operates a strict No Party Policy. Functions and gatherings exceeding the house maximum of 10 guests are not permitted at any time
