Other things to note Please note that there is a strict no smoking policy inside the condo or on the balcony. The front desk does not manage this property, so please contact us directly if you need anything during your stay. Luggage carts are available in the lobby for guests to use when checking in or checking out. Please note that the Islander has a strict policy on noise levels, so please be considerate of your neighbors during your stay. The condo is equipped with a starter kit of basic supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and dish soap. Guests may need to purchase additional supplies depending on the length of their stay. The Islander is located on the beach, so guests can enjoy swimming, sunbathing, and other beach activities right outside their door. There are many restaurants, shops, and attractions within walking distance or a short drive from the Islander. Please also note that the heating and cooling system runs off a boiler system. When the weather outside is below 68 degrees, the heat will automatically turn on whether it's on cool or heat. If you'd like hot air to stop blowing, simply turn the system off and open the balcony door to cool the space. If you need extra blankets or pillows, please let us know before 5 PM. There is an extra linen fee of $40 as we do not stock extra linens for the sleeper sofa, but we will happily drop off linens if given notice. The unit is not childproofed in any way. We are happy to host families with kids, however, nothing has been childproofed. There may be chemicals that are reachable to children, and there are no outlet covers, etc. Just know you will be responsible to make sure your children are safe in the unit.
