Cavendish is one of the upmarket shopping malls in Cape Town. 4D Cinemas, big Grocery Stores such as Woolworths, with an upmarket food hall like Marks & Spencer’s in the UK. Checkout the new Chefs Restaurant, Colcaccio’s, Starbucks, Seattle Coffee, Wellness Stores and on the outside you’d find Vine Street a chill out Cafe to lounge or cowork for free. Bootleggers is also awesome for Breakfast & Lunch. * Vineyard Hotel - turn right from the house and a sharp 1st left on Collington Road. Less than 7 mins walk, you’d fined one of the most quaint 5 Star Hotel open to anyone! You can dine outside on a sunny afternoon in the back with stunning views of Table Mountain. You can explore the Vineyard Hotel's hidden Gardens and just enjoy the ambiance of sedate vintage and history. Dining or High Tea is recommended. Newlands Village - turn right from the villas and walk 7-10 minutes and just over the Riebeck River, you’d come into Newlands Village, filled with dainty Cafes & Neighborhood Restaurants. Cafe de Flours does a Yummy Buffet every day from 12 noon onwards. Very highly recommended. There are fresh bread bakery’s, pizza, Barristas English Pub, Sushi and more. Most importantly, take special time to walk around the village and take in all the ambience of historic delightful cottages. If you walk up to the end of Kildare road, turn right into stunning tree lined Newlands Avenue and you’ll come into Forresters Pub on the left. It’s one of the oldest Pubs in all of South Africa and it serves a decadent English Sunday Roast. A few minutes from Forrester’s on Newlands Avenue is the divine Montebello! It’s a quaint nature and outdoor space with oak trees, intermingled with Cafes, Art & Craft, an Organic Fruit & Veg Farm-stall, a Tea Garden and Artisan Workshops all around nature. A must visit. Kirstenbosh Gardens - at the top of Kildare Rd, turn left and drive or walk past the major traffic lights on Rhodes Drive and within 10 minutes driving from the Villa, you’d be in the 2nd largest Botanical Gardens in the world. It’s a huge nature’s paradise to explore some the most exotic plants and flowers in the world. All nested beneath the Table Mountain that becomes an amphitheater for outdoor concerts and picnics. So check out what events Kirstenbosh has lined up. They also have a massive restaurant that serves a yummy Sunday Roast. Don’t forget to explore our neighbour suburbs of Constantia, only 15 mins drive, filled with vineyards dating back to 1600’s, Wynberg Chelsea Village & Kenilworth also nearby. The Indian Ocean Beaches are only 20 minutes drive of Muizenberg, Kalk Bay, Simons Town and in to Scarborough and Kimmetjie Beaches. Cape Point can also be explored. It’s the furthermost point of Africa!
